Canucks of course! I agree about the fantastic atmosphere. Yesterday was crazy.

Of course I'm pulling for my home team. It's a fantastic atmosphere all around here in Vancouver and Greater Vancouver

I refuse to support any team with Raffi Torres. Now that he has scored the game winner on an offside play in game 1, this years finals are officially an abomination.

I expected that lone goal to be on a fluke shot or something, but that was a fantastic play that came out of nowhere. It looked like Boston was expecting OT and so was I.

The problem is also that the tax rates are killing Canadian teams, compared to US ones (even with the $CDN almost on par with the UD$).... In order to pay a player a net salary of say... 1000.00 net, they have to to offer him almost double gross salary to what a US team has to.... And that's probably just on the salary front... I'm quite sure other taxes (TV rights, building/arenas, etc...) are also much higher Up North;.. all that with a much smaller possible audience/attendance reservoir >> almost unfeasable
At that kind of rate, it's amazing that Montreal manages anything at all, when you know Quebec has almost double taxes on the rest of Canadian provinces >> I think it was the main reason for the Quebec Nordiques to move to Denver.

Both teams have their plus sides for me, but in the end I too am going with the Canucks mostly because they're a Canadian team that has never won the cup. And Canadian teams in general have had their troubles with winning in the last couple of decades.

I'm not sure who will win, but I'm pulling for the Canucks. This is one of the better goalie matchups in recent years too. Mark Recchi has announced that he will retire if the Bruins can win the Cup. If they lose, who knows.

Bruins are 13 to 4 odds of winning as the Canucks are 5 to 11. I'm not gambling man however I will take the Canucks in 6.

It would be interesting to see who the odds-makers have listed as the favourite. I'm cheering for Vancouver all the way but Boston has maybe the best goalie in the legue and they are tough. I still think Vancouver's skill will win out.I hope.

I just needed to check out which sport Stanly Cup was (I had a hunch but I was not sure if it was ether golf or hockey, ) but anyway I will cheer for the Canadian side for no other particular reasons then no reason at all.. I like mapel threes, and mapel leafs are cool looking .

Boston fans are pricks in any sport , therefore the Bruins cannot win, Vancouver all the way.

Being half-Cannuck myself, I root for Vancouver, but the Bruins are my prefferred team from the US.

The Stanley Cup finals start on Wednesday, June 1st between the Vancouver Canucks and the Boston Bruins. Who will win the best of seven final?
Living on Vancouver Island, of course my pick is the Canucks.
