I'm a big Floyd fan myself, and I'm really into Steven Wilson's "The Raven That Refused To Sing". As a matter of fact, the producer of "Dark Side Of The Moon", Alan Parson's also recorded this album released in 2013. Also watch Wilson's DVD "Get all you deserve". I think you'll like it. Here's a good one for you...

I've spent years searching for something able to give me the same vibrations of Saucerful Of Secrets, Atom Heart Mother and Echoes....I haven't found anything better than Camel.

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Maybe not all the time, but Brazilian Violeta de Outono does get pretty close to Floyd at times. This one from their Volume 7 album is testimony to that, and what a tune it is!
Turkish act Siddharta also wields an uncanny Floyd vibe. One of the rare successful heir-takers of the sound imo: |

Abarax, Airbag, Negative Zone, Torga Ostera all follow that great melodic Floyd rock as found on Meddle through The Division Bell.

Check out The Black Noodle Project, particularly the album Ready To Go and the track Ready To Go Part 2.

Semi-Early Porcupine Tree(Sky Moves Sideways, Signify) And even some of Steven Wilson's solo stuff reminds me of Floyd. You can tell he is deeply influenced by them. I agree with an above poster about Camel. Terrific band with Floyd influence. :D

If you like One of These Days and Echoes (two of my faves) from Meddle, Tangerine Dream's Rubycon album sounds a little like a dreamier combination of those two:

I'm sorry but I just don't hear the Floyd reference in most of these bands.
