	Definitely one of my favorite metal bands, I really love everything from Blackwater Park onward (Still Life never really grabbed me for some reason). Favorite album is Ghost Reveries.

	Well it's about time someone stepped up and created a thread for the greatest metal band to ever exist! I pretty much summed up my love in that one sentence. I think their music is untouched in the metal world, for many reasons. And I know there are loyal fans out there on PA. In abundance. I never get bored of Still Life. I've listened to Godhead's Lament about 200 times now and i still can't get enough. They are yet to release a bad album! Barre Watershed of course... What are your opinions on the genius that is Mikael Akefeldt and his musical incarnation, Opeth?
