This week is filled with new stuff I received.
I'll only mention one album, though.

Pendragon - The Window Of Life
The second Pendragon record I own, and again it's very, very good stuff!!

Wonderful piece of modern symphonic prog
Noxagt - all three albums, but The Iron Point in particular

Again a few albums that have made my week:
ROCKFOUR - The Man Who Saw It All
Israeli psych/60's sounding rock infused with Beatlesian and Floydian sounds and influences, both in the music and lyrics. SHELS - Sea of the Dying Dhow
powerful metal |

In all honesty, I got tired of posting in the "What's in your CD player...." thread. It got monotonous and I don't think that posts were really noticeable. I'll just post my albums of the week, it seems much more useful.
This week:
Adagio - Underworld
Ahhh!! AWESOME Neo Classical Prog Power Metal. Similar to Symphony X but not a copy, these guys have nothing to envy to SX!!! I love the mood of the album. Very neo classical and very recommended!

Another album to add to the list:
Tr-Ond & The Suburban Savages - s/t
Taken from their myspace:
Tr-Ond (from PANZERPAPPA) made tunes, and cooked coffee.Thomas (from THE SAMUEL JACKSON 5 and NOW'VE GOT MEMBERS) drank the coffee, and tweaked and turned the tunes inside out. The rest of the savages (Anders from PANZERPAPPA and the unknown Hans Petter) were whipped into shape (with feathers). Foreign cooks (Truls from TULS AND THE TREES and Sissyfus from NOW'VE GOT MEMEBERS) were allowed into the kitchen, to add their delicious spices and good skills to the final product.
The debut album "tr-Ond and The Suburban is out now... It's distributed by www.musikkoperatorene.no, so you should be able to order it from all over the world by contacting [email protected] |

I'd like to add two more albums to the one I mentioned above:
Sculptured - Embodiment which will be released next month (I have a promo release, NOT an illegal download). See my thread dedicated to that album and also these - http://www.myspace.com/matrixmetal
The second album is Draw Breath by The Nels Cline Singers

Darnit Assaf! You're an adventurous man. Seriously, you seem to find all kinds of great music that i probably never would have discovered on my own. Thanks! |
