We almost agree, in mine is N° 5:
- Nursery Cryme
- Foxtrot
- Trespass
- The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
- Selling England by the Pound
This doesn't mean it's a bad album, by the contrary, it's excellent, Genesis with Gabriel only released superb albums, but even among the best there are ranks. SEBTP sounds too transitional to me, I find it closer to A Trick of the Tail than to any other Genesis release, a couple of radio friendly tracks, two masterpieces, and a couple of fillers, very irregular.
The first two places often change, today I prefer NC, but probably tomorrow I'll go with Foxtrot, both are the clearest expressions of Genesis at their peak.

With doubt...
It'd be a greater album without out-of-place (but good) I KNOW WHAT I LIKE and (much weaker than other stuff of the entire album) MORE FOOL ME...
In Genesis's discography SELLING INGLAND in #4 for me after THE LAMB, FOXTROT and NURSERY CRYME...

Really!
And once again I cannot vote, because there's not my favorite album by the year.
TALES FROM TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS is my favorite album of 1973.

I'm with Floyd-man here. And Genesis is #1 on my list of bands.

Strange as it may sound comming from a Genesis fan, my vote doesn't goes for Selling England, by far my less favorite album from the Peter Gabriel era.
I'd vote for an icon, Dark Side of the Moon.
