Not quite a prog guitarist, but Eddie was responsible for a huge explosion of interest by young players (mostly teenage boys) who wanted to pick up the 6 string!! Eddie single-handedly helped turn Kramer guitar company into a massive brand, introduced the locking tremolo to the masses etc. Worth discussing. RIP Eddie.
