A shift register is like a line of bits. So "shift" two bits on the left side and two out on the right side of the initial state. Easy as 3.14

The group of bits 10110101 is serially shifted (right-most bit first ) into an 8-bit parallel output shift register with an initial state of 11100100. What is the content in the register after two clock pulses ?

I should know what this means but I was asleep in class. OOPS.
