And the second is just re-release of the same songs ( but under different names) under different name and cover picture. Re-release was issued for different markets. I think it will be good just to leave original one (with information about alternative re-release inside). Unhappily, both of them have reviews. There is the re-release:

Well, I think there were much more albums re-released under different name, cover and/or tracks names -  to name one (two?Wink): Tangerine Dream - Quichotte / Pergamon, which at Progarchives are two different albums...

In my opinion there should be one procedure how to treat such situations (re-released albums, different editions, different covers etc.) there at Progarchives.

In the SBB's case, removing Slovenian Girls made me think that something like "alternate cover" feature should be really useful. Discuss. Smile

The Jimi Hendrix page needs a general clean-up:

Musique Originale du Film Jimi Plays Berkley:
http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=23380
One is listed as a live album, the other as a compliation. I don''t know which is right.

DVD Video Sampler:

Live at Monterey
These seems to be a DVD version and a Blu-Ray version of the same movie, there's no differnece in the track listing, except for the misspelling of track 4, Foxy Lady, on the DVD version.

Thank you for your answer! Clap

My review of the Goblin album is in fact a review of the 13-track album since I originally didn't know that both of these albums were listed on PA.

The 13-track version of the album (listed under Various Artists) has six tracks performed by Goblin (2,4,6,11,12,13) and five by Keith Emerson (1,3,5,9 and 10). This version has 9 out of 10 tracks that are available on the 10-track version with the exception of track nr.5 "Floe - Martin Goldray".

The 10-track version (listed under Goblin) only has three tracks performed by Goblin (2, 4 and 7) and four by Keith Emerson (1,3,6 and 10).

Can I at least get a comment on this issue? Confused
Is there a silent treatment policy that I don't know about? LOL

Why do fCensoredk the older entry hasn't been added in Various Artists at first place? No wonder the person who added the re-issue entry couldn't find it there...

As as I see it: it would be the best if we can merge two entries, but I'm quite sure this is not technically possible in PA facility. Hence, one entry should be deleted. The new one has only one review, so I guess it's better to delete that one (and then move the old review on the right place). Also Mandrakeroot who posted the review (I think he's logging in these days as '1967/1976') should get a PM notice so he can copy/paste his old review and re-post it.

That's how I see it. Awkward...

Two doubles for Metallica, all added by the same guy:

Live at Wembley Stadium EP

Until It Sleeps CDS

Please delete the latter of both, they're in the wrong area.

Please remove this double entry:

I made a mistake and clicked twice. Did not realised that the previous click already worked... Ouch

Thanks.

Yes, but collabs could change entries. That's what I'm doing if I accidentally make a double entry; I simply leave one be, and change the other one's picture, name, associated artist, year, tracklist, everything; turning it into another album - or any other PA entry for that matter (some Beatles compilations were actually my doubled entries by other artists originally).

Of course, it makes sens to do it only if you make a duplicated entry on the spot, while there are no ratings and reviews yet.

This is what generally happens with duplicated artist entries. The whole content is deleted, and the empty page used for another entry. I tried to do the same yesterday when I realized an album had been added twice, but to no availCry...

I found this Secret Chiefs 3 album added under Midas - a Japanese Symphonic Prog band that has nothing whatsoever to do with them:

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=26924

The same album is also present in the Secret Chiefs 3 discography:
