Yeah, but that's German, right? They'd be more expensive here, I guess. |
Made in Germany. But their cheap ones are made in China. But you want a German one. And they're an international brand and most decent harp players play Hohner harmonicas.

What sort of harmonica should a n00b get? |
Don't underestimate a harmonica. It sounds really loud too. That's the main problem with wind instruments. I know what I'm talking about being a sax/flute player.
|
Mmm... I'm heading to Archambault tomorrow anyway, maybe I'll look up how much a harmonica can cost. I wanted to get a tin whistle when I got into Irish folk, but haven't found one offshore yet. Maybe Twigg has them. |
It's not THAT expensive usually. And I don't know about tin whistles. You might want to try out Ital Mélodie instead of Archambault though. The prices are usually way better.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

The opposite for me. I had heard many of this year's releases, so it was a hard time for me to pick.
|
My list goes: 1. Stockholm and Goteborg 2. The Bedlam in Goliath 3. Obzen 4. Watershed 5. Ayreon's new album that I don't want to mess up at the moment Haven't heard Cynic or Kayo Dot yet though. Oh, and that's discluding In Anima. If I were to include that... not sure where I'd put it. Part of me wants to put it first in self-arrogance, but part of me says that it's definitely not better than Henry Cow for sure, let alone a few others.

Meh, Kayo Dot won last year... oh, I mean the year before.
It's time for either Guapo or Guapo to win.
That's why I voted for Henry Cow.

Do you mean, top place at PA, or PF? I and pretty much no else but Rico is gonna know straight who wins this year's PA top place, but according to the PF ratings, Kayo Dot and Guapo are first and second place respectively.
