Well, you, YOU- It's never good enough, is it?
You know, my dad's also saying that I should watch better movies... I have seen Metropolis and Nosferatu a while ago, those were more "arty". Do you have any recommendations?
|
your tastes are scary, your dad is right ...carry on the german expressionist cinema for instance! well, it depends what you are looking for and your artistic sensibility...my tastes are also scary in cinema, but totally non commercial and devoted to art for art!

You are absolutely kidding me, my furry friend... the number of movies I have positively NOT been able to see through to the end, can really be counted on one hand... although I think Kidman is extremely talented, it's an absolute pile of drivel... If you want something of that order, than 'Cabaret' really can't be beaten.
|
I'm not kidding, its one of my favorites. How can you critisize anyway when half your list is sh*te?
And "Cabaret" stuff it. I don't normally like musicals, but theres somethng really special abou Moulin!

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I already was hoping that somebody else would mention the movie before me.
So much for my street credibility, if I ever had any, but that's my all time fav movie .

I have to admit that Revenge of the Sith was an awesome movie.Did you see it yet?My favorite movie out of the O.T. has to be The Empire Strikes Back.
|
I saw Revenge of the Sith on the day of the premier (i.e. midnight showing). It was an incredible experience, I won't ever forget it. The movie was better than I had hoped, it surely is my favorite of the new trilogy. Empire is my favorite as well.
