Once a runaway, it seems that the race for the #1 reviewer is now become an interesting issue, as both John and Daniel have almost caught me up. (roughly 2900 to 2700 to 2800 respectively). When the 2000 reviews landmark was crossed, I had over 900 reviews spread over Gatot and Erik and Easy Living were not too far behind)
Hugues (that's moi
) seems relatively constant posting between one and seven reviews a week, depending on his time, but he's been posting less of them because often listening to jazz albums in the last year or so.
I've been posting reviews since early 04... So of the three, I'm the less prolific in terms of reviews/week, so I'll need the advantage I have
Daniel observes lengthy silence periods and then publishes a flurry of reviews like a madman... in the last twenty days since he's back, he's posted well over 60 reviews.... Daniel has been reviewing since March 05, but I believe that his rate of reviewing seriously increased in late 06
John is probably the most constant of the three reviewers, his review total never staying three days in a row the same.... John is reviewing since August 06, so he's quite a contender, as well, because he's by far the newest of the three
So the question is: while that it's clear that both challengers will overtake me in the near-future (and it's about friggin' time too, coz this #1 label has lost its charm a long time ago and is almost a burden), but will it happen before the 3000 review mark or past it????

The weird part is that the French-speaking Belgians are often portrayed as under-achievers (our Flemish-speaking compatriots are less polite and diplomatic), yet the top two reviewer spots are are squatted by two of them. Is prog that much an exception in life?...
