These are called epic fails :-) I know, I'm ashamed, as it's my home field. When I was on their gig, around beginning of October (my first prog gig ever), I even bought their poster (with new CD), but forgot about it.

By the way, if you want to check them, they'll be in Bruxelles soon, http://ujd.tre-hosting.cz/concerts.php - 20.03.2010

It probably will, so I'll think about it. By the way look at this guys:

http://www.deepart.org/releases.html

Maybe it can help. A lot.

You know what Necron and Alex ? After all, I think that I can enjoy this kind of music. I never though I'll be able to, but apparently, I am.

I never was OK with this genre (and similar genres), as I always embraced symphonic elements in prog. But death metal growls seems to be rather pleasant here. Well, not pleasant as calm, peaceful and nice, but more like that you can feel the raw energy of it. With great atmosphere. Truly great. Because this music isn't addicted (and does not  depend) on black/deat/doom metal (whatever you call it) elements. Om uses this parts only as means of bringing their ideas forth,

I see Ulver is listed. It's a cover album of songs from the 60's and 70's entitled Psyche. They're also hoping to get their collaboration with Sunn O))) completed by spring, but we'll see on that.

From their myspace:

"There is also a collaboration with Sunn O))). We had a terrific tracking session with the Nazgûls after their appearance at the Øya festival well over a year ago. We spent a month or so editing the material and adding our sheen to the sound. Since then it has unfortunately been lying dormant due to difficulties getting everyone together. We hope to join forces and finish the thing this spring. It is becoming a ghost."

Cross your fingers.

If you're OK with extremely extreme black metal, that album can only be a love affair.

First I have to get to know Negura Bunget :-D and the more I hear about them, the more I feel need to understand them.

Same with me, except getting wet (not even metaphorically ;-) ), really looking forward to it. Bantam to Behemoth started so aggressively and charmed us all.

Dordeduh is a band formed by members of Negura Bunget after they quit it last summer. They have signed a deal with a record company and will be releasing a debut album called "Dardeduh" in 2010. As they haven't uploaded anything on MySpace yet, I can only suppose it's going to be a Tech/Extreme release Big smile

I would like to have this stickied too, but this would be unprecedented deed, as just one thing is stickied here.

Also, Guapo will be releasing a new album in 2010, as will Polar Bear.

Oh and so will Birds and Buildings, apparently.
