I don't take that much time to release excrement from myself. I very rarely make it to the toilet, so adding reading to the equation would equal disaster.

But it is a part of life... I used to sit and read for an hour or even hour-and-half, while the members of my household were shouting and banging at the doors. As I'm older now, I can't sit for longer than 15 minutes - my legs get 'fizzy'. But if nothing else, I finally have a newspapers stand and a bookshelf mounted on a wall next to a toilet seat, in my own toilet. The books get a bit moldy, though.

Now that you mention it, I've got some reading material in the etagere at my flooded out house I need to move over to the apartment. I've got two books I haven't managed to get all the way through for more than a year now, one by Kevin Phillips and one by Noam Chomsky. I prefer reading material that can be read in short bursts.

It's something to do while you're doing your doo, isn't it? Never enough time to read while your doing a whizz. Except of course ads over the unirals.

I think this one needs no further explanations. I have to admit - I do, and I'm enjoying it. Since I was a little boy. Everybody in my family was/is doing it, so I'm no exception. Sometimes newspapers, magazines, comics, but mostly books. The bad thing (is it bad, really?) is an addiction (or perhaps an OCD?) on reading while being on toilet. It goes that far, if I don't have a book nearby, I'll read ingredients from a shampoo bottle or play with my mobile phone. If I have absolutely nothing readable at hand, I'll watch the patterns in tiles which resemble letters... Oh well. Your votes and opinions please!
