Why that's awfully morose, peter! you should learn to lighten up a bit. being serious does not necessarily mean being suicidal; unless you actually are serious about suicide, in which case I insist you see a therapist...

OKAY, guys. This has gone on long enough.
"It's" is a contracted form of "it is." That is all it ever means. (as in: "It's a cruel world," or "It's a depressing CD.")
"Its" means "of, or belonging to it." (as in: "My life has lost its meaning.")
Please try to get it right, and no more emoticons or exclamation marks, please. Life is too unrelentingly bleak for such misguided displays of emotion.
(And less colour please, Danbo, in any future posts here. All will be fittingly black when the sun inevitably burns out....)

Might I suggest repeatedly closing a car door on your fingers for a day or two, as that would be less painful than enduring 48 continuous hours of NoMTV.
