I just had to fly to and from Atlanta on business. I did find the security measures to be a huge pain; however, every little bit helps. I darn near missed my flight, though.
Let's just sit tight and wait for the shoe to drop. And when I say 'shoe to drop' I mean an attack that makes 9/11 look like a tickle fight. This could be in this country or even YOUR country. When it does, then the world's eyes are going to look to the west.
And sorry for the name calling (although "Junior" is pretty tame). I get pretty heated when I feel like this country is being railed upon. It's just not here on this forum. I read it constantly on a forum for my favorite band quite frequently. Understand my position.

Politics are a heathen subject. I was not offended by Junior (my father's middle name is Junior ), besides you are 40 something or 50 something . . . . About having terrorist attacks here in Brazil, i think that that is highly improbably. We dropped the armed diplomacy over a century ago when we won the Paraguay War and now we try to conduct our stuff with talking. Sometimes that is really frustrating (we are fighting the end of economical protectionism for over 2 decades , but we got some victories) but it don't generates to much heathen enemies. Damn, Israel is going to keep fighting the Arabs until forever because they took most the land using their army. . . (they bought a large part, but, you know, the Arabs were not willing to sell the rest)

Then American Idol needs to be taken off the air IMMEDIATELY!!!! Holy crap, my wife watches that show and it drives me up the wall. Oprah is another one...and she watches both. No wonder I'm crabby, for Pete's sake!!! E

I need to listen to Entropia again. It's the least listened to out of all of my POS discs (and I have 'em all), but found it really heavy.
Now, when I listen to The Perfect Element that's a whole 'nother story. I ping pong between that and Remedy Lane, but TPE wins out.

1. alter US foreign policy to not meddle in the affairs of the middle east too much. 2. tell the US citizens and ESPECIALLY media outlets to get their sh*t together. See the ABC debate a few nights ago? Disgraceful. If they won't fix themselves and act with dignity and integrity, then--even saying this as a libertarian--the government has to stop them. They are poisoning, numbing, and stupefying the populace and it must stop. 3. Under no circumstances can any person ever be held without being charged for more than a day or two (I think after 2 days under normal law someone must be charged). A speedy, fair trial must be ensured even if the person is a known terrorist, with connections, and who knows when/if an attack is happening. No compromises. 4. Revoke the Patriot Act. 5. If the government wiretaps, it must get a court approval. Simple as that. How long does it take for a police officer to get a warrant? Less than a day? This shouldn't really be that big of an issue. 6. Uphold the Geneva Conventions. 7. Do not condone torture. Under any circumstances. (Hey, if there is an atomic bomb about to go off, I don't care what you do to the guy to find out where it is, but this needs to be black ops. Just answer the friggin' question, Junior!!! What would you do? Let me repeat it and this time put your little peepers REALLY close to the screen: WHAT WOULD YOU DO??? That's all I want to know at this point! Don't dabble back in your high school history book and tell me of a better solution!!!

1st of all, i did not used any history book. I just know what happened on the ww2 and the reasons of what happened. Most of the information about the kills are not on the history books because its not interesting to the ruler class to remember genocides and remember why we have the rights we have today. The proof of that is on the rebirth of the nazi groups that where kept underground for 40 years and the "holocaust never happened" bulls**t.
ANYWAY, the biggest problem with the post WTC thing is how USA conducted restrictions. Hell, they prohibited lighters on airplanes but allowed matches (hmm, that interesting). They hardened the security on airports, but to arrest and interrogate arab-looking people just because they are arab-looking is too far. To invade Afghanistan was not exactly ok, but was allowed by the world regulators (UN, etc), but to use Afghanistan as a path to invade Iraq, well, you know. The main problem with USA conduct is not the intention, but how they do. Fight terrorism, ok; Invade a country saying that you will fight terrorism, but was actually after oil, well, just sickening.
The bottom line is that they way your government is doing things are wrong. The ends do not justify the means.
WWID: I would just not f* up with rights, international order and blame it on somebody else.

Raff, now YOU are calling what you said misinformation--not me. Not once did I say that. That's not playing fair and I think you know that. E

Keeping my mouth closed because I've been witness to much worse than this with the parties involved. Just finished the lawn, but this really is putting a damper on my day, which is moronic*.
