GYBE got my vote out of that lot, but my favourite at the moment by a huge margin is Guapo.

I'm with Jethro Fish on this one: can't really choose between Transatlantic and Flower Kings. So just to equilibrate things I voted for Transatlantic.

But I almost voted for Anekdoten, just because I don't like to see them with zero votes...

Of the options avaliable I had to choose the Flower Kings. If Arena were one of the choices I would have gone with them.

It's a tie between The Flower Kings and Transatlantic for me but I went with TFK since they had no votes.

A nod and a wink to Änglagård as well. I love "Hybris", can't stand "Epilog"...go figure...

There's a lot of good stuff in this poll... I'll go for The Mars Volta for right now (my opinion will probably change) for their recent progressive effort (very good).

Just for the record, I define "modern" as "formed in the late 80s onwards".  And I chose to not include any prog metal.
