There are so many bands that i've got to know through this site.ANEKDOTEN and PORCUPINE TREE would top my list, although the whole Zeuhl genre deserves a mention.Listening to JANNICK TOP right now and it's a killer i tell ya.

Wow, that's really tough. I've been coming here since 2005 and there have been so many.
But FranMuzak mentioned the one that seems to stand out the most, so I'll go with that one..........Nemo! |

Though there are of course many bands I discovered here, I'll mention one of the first bands I discovered here, whose album both my wife and I are in love with:
"Thank you, Prog Archives, for introducing me to the music of MALDOROR!"
Their album, L'Arbre-Cimetière, is fantastic and even better when you understand French. |

I'd have a really hard time with just one choice. I've been visiting for over a year and there are several. The latest was Phideaux.
In violation of your question I am adding the following:
Mr. Bungle
Explosions In The Sky
Pure Reason Revolution Edited by Slartibartfast - September 24 2007 at 15:48 |
