In profesionnal arts, and music, you'll be surprised knowing how much of the people do drugs.

But if you are truly creative and imaginative you shouldn't need to get stoned to find inspiration.

Write while high, play while sober. That'sthe secret!!!
I'm clean, but I'm 13, so it doesn't mean THAT much. Still, drugs are not part of my life-plan. That is, taking over the world.

No..... proggers are like the opposite... >.>
How could you expect to play insanely complicated music hopped up on dope? I don't know ANYONE who likes prog and does drugs. Sorry to say... <.<
|
Thats a pretty dumb statement, dope gives you alot of imagination, songs come out nicely and easily... and MANNNYYYY prog bands in the 60's-70's and even now took drugs...
So. dont say stupid things like that

It might do all that for you,but it really messes up your reflexes and reaction time.
When I got high as a teenager I used to tape myself practicing drums and would play high and think I was doing great, then listen to it later on when I was straight and realized how much my playing was off.
|
My dad used to be in a jazz band with a tromboneist that would play high and he, apparently, thought that he was at his creative peak and producing fantastic stuff when he was high when he was actually rather crap.

Never tried drugs and never will, alcohol doesn't interest me much either, but I drink it sometimes, very rarely though.

you don't need drugs, when you listen to music that creates the same affects with much more exciting side effects.
