I already touched First Base by listening to the first two Babe Ruth albums and I'm going for a home run by adding Babe Ruth and Octopus to my prog album playlists on YouTube. Smile

Innings ??

Yes, I always remember the Heep tune too when I listen to Melinda by CA.

I'm planning to feature the solo albums of Sonja Kristina, Francis Monkman and Darryl Way on this thread too, just as soon as I've added their albums to my prog playlists on YouTube. Thumbs Up

Awesome. I'm loving this thread, but Curved Air is probably my favorite underlooked prog-rock band.
I think you'll enjoy Sonja Kristina's version of the Yessong, "Soon", which is coming soon on The Curved Air Family Album. Smile

Air Cut is a great album.

I once tried to get Derren Reddick to play Metamorphosis on his Planet Rock prog show but predictably he chose to play Elfin Boy instead . No wonder that show is now defunct.

North Star is also a really a good album. The first three CA albums are dreadfully produced but worth checking out Curved Air Live (recorded at Bristol Uni in 1974) and the Beat club performance from around 1971-2 is also very good.

BTW Francis Monkman resurrected the track Vivaldi for the Sky 2 double album release of 1980. I love that version more than the original CA version.
