NHL 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs

no one in Canada it seems.. what did I read. Ratings there for the playoffs are down 60% from last year

I can dig that. I would have picked Pittsburgh as well to be honest, the Caps history is too long and too painful to ignore. If there is a way.. they have.. and perhaps still can find new and creative ways to lose where they should have won.

 but my heart definitely is with the Capitals on this one.  Longtime fan.. as long as I have been living out here. I will party like it is 1999 if they ever do win it. I fully expect to be arrested for overturning and torching a few cars in Old Town, starting with bosses (a Pittsburgh native) Porsche if we actually did win finally the Cup

we all know what the likely answer is. This article says it all.. written a year ago before ANOTHER blown series.  I do hope all NON-Penguin fans will be rooting for us.  Other than the f**king Cubs.. has there been any other team that has ripped their fans hearts out with regularity as have the Capitals.  We deserve it .. this year we do.

who was the first to lose a 3-1 series lead (not counting 3-0 comebacks).  Yep... you guessws it and they only continued to perfect that.. including to the Rangers last year.

that should be a helluva game 7.  My money is on the champs.. they do have that 'it' factor. One reason why I think Dallas will fold if pushed to a game 7 and we all know the Caps history ... both best win game 6's or both may be in deep..deep trouble.

consider yourself lucky...  you never really had a chance in that one. The Rangers stopped being a viable cup contender half a season ago. However we are setting up here to have our hearts ripped out YET again... if Philly wins game 6..who really thinks the Caps will win game 7. I sure wouldn't. I could see a repeat of the game 7 blow out circa 2009.

or would if we had any hearts left after the flameouts of the last decade... and we thought that 2010 exit was disappointing...

^ Certainly possible. I'm not a big believer in dallas (no D) but with the wild limping into the playoffs and generally playing rather flat I thought the stars were in the drivers seat. Minnesota found that something extra for the playoffs.
