On my Pod I have an assortment of prog playlists, including prog with an edge (King Crimson, Anglagard, Van Der graaf etc.) which i listen to while working out, as well as a list of sleepy time prog (Olias of Sunhillow, White Willow, Selling England etc.) which, obviously i listen to late at night. Progressive rock as art rock is able to "paint" so many moods as to run the gammit? of human emotion. Different prog for different moods. Different moods at different times.

At home. My music has no portability at the moment. Not so much as a
portable CD player! God knows how I'll survive 7 hours on the train
next week...

In my room. I hang a DO NOT DISTURB sign outside on the door. In big bold letters.
