It's 4.5 on MMA

Reported on MMA for less than 5 stars.

Joel, 5 star albums are essentially perfect, I can't give a 5 star rating to an album that that lacks virtually any dynamic variation, despite how godly it is.

Reported for slanderous, slanderous lies
Nah, for reals, that's the only place I feel the album is lacking. I'd still give it a 5 though.

The Digitech RP1000 I own is better than any other effects (bar distortion, overdrive and fuzz) I've owned under the 200$ US mark, although a 90$ distortion pedal slaughters it in that regard. I'd buy more stompboxes if I had the funds.

Seeya Kevin.

That's why I'm hoping to find one with good distortion; some of the higher-end solid-state amps have very nice distortion.

And I've found that a moderately priced stompbox (read: $60-$90) that does just one effect is far more effective than a $600 multi-effect pedal.

And with that I'm going to bed.  Goodnight.

Ah, nice. I've only replaced my tube once I think, although my friends who are a sh*t load more serious seem to replace theirs every 3 months or so, which is insane.

Also, unless you want to spend $600 on a boutique distortion pedal with a few months on a waiting list before being able to order, amp distortion > pedal distortion.

I don't know much about maintenance for tube amps so I think I'd go solid state, I'm hoping I can find a higher end model for a decent price or else I'd have to resort to pedals for distortion.  I already have a little Digitech multiline effects pedal but it's very low-end.

So I was going for a 1 day/no deaths Diablo 2 run and then my laptop resets thanks to Windows f**king updates whilst I've got Diablo down to about 1/3 of health. Un-f**king-believable.

@Kevin: Nice, you gonna get an amp soon?
