i spilled diet coke on it so the whole keyboard messed up, i had to take apart the whole laptop and clean it from the inside. 5 keys still don't work but they seem to be coming to their senses with time, so my hopes are up...

Sounds like all the keys will work again with time then. At least hopefully they will.
