Unusual. We normally prefer subtitles.

Lets's forget that then.

Is it an adventure series?

Oh, I see. It was a quote from Wikipedia. I’m pretty sure this one was dubbed.

How do you translate a film? That is my problem. Do you mean remade in English? Dubbed? Subtitled? Nothing else makes any sense to me.
I did reread your post many times and it made no sense to me.Ouch

No, Ian, read my post one more time. I’m saying that the film was not made in English, but it (the film, not the books) has been translated into more than seventy languages (including English).

Are you saying the film wasn't in English? Are you saying the books are translated into more then seventy languages  except English?

No. I don’t even think they are translated into English. But the film became an international success and has been translated into more than seventy languages.

One author for the books, it looks like the film was co-written by the author and the director. None of them British.

Did the car first appear in a TV series?

Or was it a film?  If you don't mind two questions.

Yes, the characters are from a book series. The car first appeared in another medium … but soon after it was used in a book as well.

In books. So the characters are from a book series...but not the car?

No, it’s not from a book. Many of the characters appear in books but not the car.

No. LOL There’s actually a character you could call a kind of spy, but still …

New Democracy will not attempt to make a new government in Greece. The second biggest party, Syriza, say that they will do their best. Good luck!
