Agreed - that one's a stunner

Like that? You'll love this:

Rodenbach Grand Cru (a rarity at only 6.5%, too)

Picked up a case of lambic beer for our friend who's coming to visit (very very belated wedding gift I guess!)
While there picked up a bottle of lambic beer for myself. Can't wait! sh*t is amazingly delicious.

Also not beer but picked up some woodchuck ciders, something light and refreshing to contrast the yuengling.
Pretty much it's gonna be some good beer days coming up.

Since I was at the hospital to visit my new niece, I stopped by Harris Teeter (the upscale grocer in town) to check out their beer selection.  They're renovating and OH MY WHAT IS THIS

Five huge walls of nothing but beer.  I was a kid in the proverbial candy store.

I got this:

And picked up this for tonight's "festivities":

But there's no such thing as...wait a minute...huh?  Wacko

My wife's parents are anti-alcohol.  I'd have nowhere to store any beer to keep it cold.

Unhappy

Think I'll have a few Optimators tonight.

The sad part about no beer for a week is that I probably gained weight anyway.  Embarrassed

I'm sipping on some Killian's now.

I was all prepared to hibernate for the rest of Christmas break but now my brother's girlfriend is getting ready to go into labor, so my ass might be out of bed at 5am to keep him company in the hospital.  LOL
