Yes, Scott. Or some other natural drug.
I think it's Ethnogens? Drugs used for spiritual purposes.

Isn't that how the American Indians interacted with their spiritual world?

Alright alright chillax

No idea if Teo was getting at this...but how long should that be? Some people are capable of driving well enough while others can't
You said 2 days? That would indeed be a problem LOL
What if someone wants me to go Church Mike? I'll need to blaze to make it through that....
but then I'll have to drive there still. Can't do it 2 days before...

Wink

Yes. One big problem though is driving under the influence of it. I've never used it myself, but apparently when you do you'll have to wait a couple of days until you're allowed to drive a car. That will certainly be a problem, even if it is legalized.

It's obvious you've never used it. Years ago (like 10) I actually did the stupid thing of driving a few times under the green influence and I can tell it's much more doable than under alcohol influence. And you don't need two days to get your head straight. You can be driving (properly) again in 6 hours...

It's incredibly stupid and irresponsible to drive under the influence of marihuana though... I'm not supporting it. I'm just saying you have your facts wrong.

I don't care about whether you feel like you can still drive under the "green influence" - and neither would the cops. Just saying.

Yeah, I dont trust my driving sober...but I have been in the car with someone driving under the green, it was only around town but he's fine. Im guessing it would vary person to person, but he's also driven long highway sections many times perfectly fine....

While its stupid and may vary I gotta agree, you dont have to wait days.

You love facts and evidence Mike. I was disproving your uninformed assertion. Just saying. Tongue

And also it is less phisycally addictive than coffe and also less toxic. It would be fair to keep marijuana illegal if we put water illegal too.
However, a healthy person dying of water intoxication is very close to being physically impossible, and a reasonable quantity of marijuana is a hell of a lot worse for you than water, so your comparison is invalid.

Your naivety  is cute.

But it makes me feel good, Henry. It makes me feel better than paying bills does. Paying bills should be illegalized, and marijuana legalized in her place.

For the sake of argumentation, listening to music is just as easy as smoking weed, so why isn't it lazy? I mean, everything you do alters the chemicals in your body, some way or another. The air you breathe, your emotions being mere fluctuations of chemicals.

So, really, it's all lazy. I can understand if you personally don't like it. Personally, I don't like lots of stuff.

Not that I am trying to argue a point. at heart, I'm a circumstantialist, and am indifferent to all things in terms of personal opinion. I just do what I feel, and talk lots o' sh*t on account of I wanna.

Hokai, so I don't smoke, currently. I used to, often, but quit without any real problems. I'd like to, again, if it were legal and really cheap. I hate paying for drugs, but sometimes, they're so damn good. I mean that high you get when you're toasted off your ass and you mix it with some vodka shots, and they.....

Whew! You got dangerously close to drug advocating there and not discussion!

A few days ago, a friend of mine explained me why he was against this legalization: as long as marijuana is forbidden, its users would keep with this "grass" and would be less likely to try hard drugs.
I'm not sure his theory is correct, but that would be an idea I could throw in the discussion.
As far as I know the Netherlands have relatively less hard drug addicts than the US. I'm not 100% sure though.

As I said, it's the idea of this friend of mine. I'm not sure things work this way.

Stop listening to your friend. he has no idea what he is talking about.

and: Try and get some knowledge first, and then form an opinion.

In fact, my opinion is already "formed" for a long time: I saw some acquaintances smoking marijuana / haschich / kif AND drinking a lot, sniffing cocaïne or talking about the places where to buy ecstasy pills.

^Oh wow, you did? And that's the reason for your "opinion" on legalization? What can I say; your way of argumenting isn't all that impressive.

Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
