I wondered about that one too. They almost gave up on the run entirely in the second half. But that seems to be the Phins MO this season.

At this point, I honestly don't care about whether we won, lost, or tied. I'm going to be holding my breath tomorrow for Geno and Gio. It looked like Gio will be okay, but if Geno's out for any extended period of time, I worry about this defense. We already have enough guys injured, especially on that side of the ball. But if we're missing him we're in trouble.

I will have my fingers crossed for that MRI tomorrow.

See? It turned out pretty good after all!

I had no backing, just gut feeling...coming off that huge win, struggling Phins, figured it'd be a bit of a letdown game (esp with Miami's pretty stout D) though I admit...I expected Cincy to sloiwly pull it out bit by bit and finally seal the deal. Miami has really hung around!

Also huzzah OT. Giving my players a chance for some more stat padding. And with Green Ellis and Gresham, I need it!!

Hoorah, I hope we do. I think we will too. Miami may be starved for a win, but they already have a terrible time bringing fans to the stadium. Toss in the fact that it's Halloween and a Thursday night, I don't think the crowd will be much of a factor.

Go Bengals!

Since you are asking a simple Y/N question, no need for all the debate, thank god!
Yes
2 Super Bowls, with 2 MVPs to match. The entire career and etc can be debated, but that alone puts him in rare company, and HoF company.
If he gets a third, all doubt is eliminated. If he doesn't, but his career maintains until the end like it has so far (60%, 3000+ yds, 25+ TDs) I guess it's possible he doesn't, seems unlikely to me but I'll be fair...he may not. There is Jim Plunkett after all. But yeah, has a few years left, plenty of time to pad stats or better yet get #3 to seal the dealSmile

Potentially intriguing game tonight, or total snoozefest

No doubt, and of course I can only know of Tittle in a historical way but the game was just so different then, not in a good or bad way and not to take away from Tittle. Also old timers who saw him play have called in to say Eli has been best. Not to stir debate just wanted to show my love!

Tittle led the Giants to divisional titles in 1961, 1962, and 1963. Even though they failed to win the overall NFL crown, those were the "glory years" in New York when Tittle was at the helm. Hall of famer

Unrelated and no one cares...but Eli Manning passed Phil Simms as the Giants passing leader. Regardless of overall legacy, he is the best QB in Giants history and Im grateful to have had him, despite some early headaches and heart stoppages LOL

Absolutely, but do be a tad realistic. It was the Rams...and not even with their starting QBLOL With probably the NFL's best defense you'd expect this result. I mean, Clemens looked scared to throw the ball at times!

I was a bit surprised how well St Louis ran, I thought it was impossible to do that on Seattle.
Still, gotta give it to them, they made the one big play which is all you need in a game like that.

Their O line is missing some starters and the Rams DO have some nasty pass rushers. Still I was impressed with the pass rush they had, that was something

Yes, the goal line play calling was absolutely dreadful.

Rivalry games!
This is why they rule, all stats, matchups, metrics and blah blah can get tossed out the window.

Seattle has a very efficient offense, but not real explosive, we saw tonight if you can limit them they really struggle, though ironically it was that huge 80 yard TD that won it for themLOL

I'm impressed: 7 sacks on Wilson, 139 pass yards (with 80 on 1 play), lynch held to 23 yards AND STL who's been awful running the ball racked up near 200 on perhaps the NFL's best defense.
Imagine if their QB was just a bit better! Even still, Clemmens legit could've won that.
What a game!
