When I conceived these interactive polls (oh my God it's been a year!), I imagined the participation of 10-15 forumists, and so I thought it appropriate to vote for 3 songs.

I think that even if the next poll (with mathman0806 commander in chief) will be around 20-25 songs we could evaluate the idea of voting for 5 songs.

What do you think about it?
Amos Goldberg (professor of Genocide Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem): Yes, it's genocide. It's so difficult and painful to admit it, but we can no longer avoid this conclusion.

Ok I'll start Thursday evening, Friday at the latest.

I'm probably going to do a topic this time around, namely anything to do with water in the title or in the lyrics.  Non-progressive only.

Thursday or Friday maybe? Once most people voted in the last poll I guess. Tongue

Yes, Mike, the next is yours. You could open it on Thursday. And in the meantime give us some indications.

Cristi, when do you start your poll? Monday?

what about later today? If not, tomorrow?
I just have to think what songs to start with.

The theme is later day songs you love from veteran/long career artists. Tongue

As you prefer for the day,

If you want, open a poll only of prog songs or songs of any kind, prog and not prog.

And if you want sx

Hopefully, prog artists will be allowed.

I was thinking non-prog first, if people have fun with this, we can do a prog round.
But if you think it's not a good idea, we can include prog artists as well then.
Either way is fine with me, another great idea(s)!

Yes I like this idea.  And I'm fine either way too.

Or maybe it is too difficult a theme?

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

I kinds think along the lines you do, Mike, just wasn't sure if anyone else would see it that way.  Will announce on the poll, and I thank you for your input.  Smile

I don't know how it can be added into votes quite frankly since most everyone has already voted.  It's a song I'm already familiar with so it won't be able to change my vote anyway.  There has to be a deadline that is followed as far as submitting your final entry.  If not, each of these polls has the danger of never closing.  Once the voting has started, it's not really fair to enter another nomination, unfortunately.  You gave plenty of warning too.  Besides that, we are ready to move onto the next poll.  He can hold onto his entry for a poll that it can fit into for later, but is always welcome to join in any poll, of course!

So......Icarium came in late and wants to nominate his Jethro Tull contribution....Should I add it in or not, it may have lost votes, although we'll never know for sure.  Let me know what is best, folks.
