Julie Newmar IS catwoman! and this is her today! I agree and its about time the 60s series was on DVD as everything else is - perhaps straight to Blu ray would be the answer. I have the 60s series taped off cable TV but its not the same really is it as owning a box of em! 60s series has 120 episodes - Season OneEdit1. Hi Diddle Riddle Season TwoEdit35. Shoot A Crooked Arrow Season ThreeEdit95. Enter Batgirl, Exit Penguin |

Yep, any of the 60's girls are the winner here!
Anne Hathaway really stepped up and was a lot of fun in the new movie, very surprising. She provided some nice flirty comedy relief, and kicked a** well too! As for the Halle Berry Catwoman, it's truly awful, but I'm maybe just bitter becasue Ashley Judd was originally contracted to play that role and pulled out of it, so if she HAD been in that film, no matter if it was still just as awful, she would have shot straight to the top of this list for me! |

Duh, sorry, Julie wasn't in the movie. They did get a pretty good look-alike. Though her hair was completely different. That was Lee Meriwether, my bad.

Julie by far! Halle was just a weird choice. Julie didn't seem TOO well-known. Which you can't say for Anne Hathaway and Halle Berry. Which was good, and makes her the classic Catwoman. She's got that 'look'. Especially since she was on the Batman show. Nobody's gonna look at Halle Berry and go "Oh, she was the Catwoman!" |

Always loved the 60's film too! I wish Warner Brothers and Fox would get their deals worked out so we can get the proper full 60's series released on DVD! Surely they both know they'd make bags and bags of money?!
Actually, that 60's series is the closest to getting the Batman costume correct! Up until the recent relaunch, Batman in the comics always had the blue and grey costume! |

I like that film too - it never took itself seriously and was loads of fun. Batman is all through it and the villains are great. The problem for e was that Julie Newmar was replaced as Catwoman and she was always my fave inthe series - so sultry and cute |

Atavachron, I guess I always found it hugely disappointing that Batman and The Joker don't even get a proper physical showdown in `The Dark Knight'! I didn't want to see the big finale with a bunch of no-name extras on a boat, at least give us a proper end confrontation!

I easily voted for the first Keaton film. Much more entertaining than the recent trilogy, filled with great action and style. Never afraid to acknowledge that it's based on a comic book either. Keaton nailed the voice too, unlike Christian Bale - although there was a big improvement from him in the current `Rises' film!
I'm not much of a fan of `The Dark Knight' film. I always found it deadly serious and quite dull for long stretches. It's made a lot better by the two villain performances from Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhardt, I think people have raised it higher due to associating it with the awful situation surrounding Ledger. The newie `Rises' was a huge improvement to me! A bit more crowd pleasing, much more fun and some added much needed humour. Far more pure entertainment! |

The costumes and musical score were pretty good, especially taking into consideration it was made in 1966.

If I could vote, I'd go with Batman (1966). That movie was hilarious! A
classic! He sprays the shark biting him with some Shark Repellant (or
whatever that is) and the fake shark drops back into the water and
explodes!! The rest, pretty boring. Drenched with bad acting and boring
dialogue that never ends. But the action is so classic. If you haven't
seen it, the whole thing's on youtube.
