Mike Oldfield - guitar
Jon Lord - organ
Chris Squire - bass
Carl Palmer - drums
Richard Harvey - clarinet, recorder
I'd like to listen them play neo-classical rock, influenced by renaissance, baroque and classical music. Something in the vein of Deep Purple's April.
All the musicians except for Squire did record classically-influenced music (does Wakeman's Catherine of Aragon count?), but I'm sure he'd have been able to provide some interesting contrapuntal basslines.

I read somewhere that Ritchie Blackmore wanted originally for bass player in Rainbow John Glascock...
I'am happy that Tull won this race, but Rainbow with Dio in vocals and John Glascock in backing vocals is something I would like to know what would sound like.

I think we all generally agree on definitive line-ups and are wary of 'supergroup' tags (of the latter, only ELP fufilled that particular label in my biased opinion). However, there are some musicians that always lend weight to 'established' prog artists - one of those must be the above-named Tony Levin.
