Watching K-On! reminded me of the quieter more character driven episodes of MLP.

My favorite mahou shoujou series is Madoka Magica, personally.

And of course, I will judge it when I see it.


AAAND DHX worked on this (was written by Meghan Mccarthy) so there's a chance that it can be good, or just meh, but I don't think it will suck.

Just finished the #1 and starting with the 2# issue, so far so good, it has more pop culture references than the show and a slightly "darker" tone.
