Yes, I'm sure about the url because I saved it as a favourite. I've also seen the Japanese clothes shop and many sites for the metal band.

Hmmm, that URL points to a Japanese clothes shop or something from what I can see, and the Internet archive points to that one or a similar type of site all the way back to 2004. You sure that was the correct URL?

Okay, thanks very much for your help. Maybe someone who remembers the site (www.evergrey.com) will pass by one of these days. Evergrey were active up to July 2009. Their site was cached after this but probably still worked up to the end of that year.

Musea Records have samples from their own releases on their webshop, at least their most recent ones. And all of their own artists (i.e. the ones signed by Musea exclusively) can all be found on Spotify too. So in that department you will have plenty to explore.
And then there's Progstreaming of course. It takes a dedicated listener to just manage to keep track of all the titles given a run of a few weeks of free streaming on that site. Whatever happened to the site you refer to I don't know. I had never heard about them until you mentioned that one. |

Yes, it is possible. I just assumed they were a label because they offered free mp3 downloads of whole tracks as samples. Is it possible for a reseller to be taken over by a label? If they were taken over by another reseller, they could potentially be even harder to track down. The reason I wanted to find them, is because the samples led me to hear many high quality bands that I would never have otherwise come across. There would be others I missed before the site disappeared.

I can find no trace of a record label called Evergrey Records. Of the artists you mention, all but the last two are or have been signed to Musea Records. Could it be that you're mixing this up with a reseller rather than a label?
Musea Records have been active under that name for more than 20 years now. |

Is Musea, what used to be Everygrey records (not to be confused with the metal band)? Everygrey's website was archived and then disappeared from the archive. I understand they became another label under a different name. Bands/projects signed to them were Colossus Project, Healing Road, Mirage, Galadriel, Ulysses, Luup, Cast, Anima Mundi, Ancient Vision, Guy Manning & Andy Tillison and many others.

I've got Kehell's album, related to a Japanese Neo band Orpheus. Shugekazu Kamaki, an Orpheus' founder, formed this project soon after Orpheus disbanded.

Olav. If you don't mind, I will grab Oneira from the Musea stable for an evalution in the Symph Prog team. What the blurb says: The Progressive rock band Oneira has been formed in Italy by composer/guitarist and bass player Filippos Gougoumis in 2010. The current bandmembers are Erik Spedicato on drums, Giampaolo Begnoni on keys and Vincent King as guest vocalist. The debut album "Natural Prestige" contains 10 songs, out of which 4 are instrumental. The rest of the songs comes with deep emotional lyrics, dealing with goals to achieve in life, adventures in space, or the beauty of nature and the peace of the sea. For the making of the album Filippos teamed up with producer Oliver Philipps (Everon) and producer/engineer Christian "Moschus" Moos (Everon/Spacelab Studio). While Oliver arranged the songs and appears as special guest (keys, guitars, vocals), Moschus mixed the album and also did part of the recordings. The rest had been recorded in Italy already before Filippos came over to Germany to finish the album. The style of the music is progressive rock, with the focus on melodies and atmospheres, not on technical wizzardry. It may be best compared to the earlier works of bands such as Genesis or Yes, but may as well appeal to people who like bands like Rush, Styx or Journey. But keep up your excellent work and let the albums and bands flow to these pages. |

Part Two) - (3'50) Label description: Patrice CHARTOL is the front man of TEKNICOLOR, the band that issued "LNA's Dream" at the beginning of the New Millenium. This bass-keyboards player was also helped by two singers and a flutist in order to create a musical trip in time and space through nineteen suggestive and oneiric tracks. This aerie Progressive rock style with an ethnic feeling also shows some classical influences (FAURE, RAVEL...). This musician presents a collection of works close to those of VANGELIS or Klaus SCHULZE, the true masters of electronic music. Edited by Windhawk - October 18 2011 at 09:00 |
