An elected government? A junta/military coup? A democratic one? A fascist one? A socialist one? Monarchy? Republic? Left wing? Right wing? Conservative? Progressive? Reactionary? Oligarchic? Moderate?

Exemple: in France, the President and his government are from the republican conservative right. But I voted for the left party candidates. So, can I trust the government of my country?
Moreover, at least, I can say I had many choices, not like people living under dictatorships.

This question is too much... global and "ideal".

Republicans love to say that the government can't do anything right, and then proceed to make it so when they can.  My trust in government depends on who is in charge.  I believe in maintaining a healthy skepticism no matter who is though.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
