It's simple. It's a matter of psychology.
Hugues will let it all pass: he knows when he's been beaten.
Zowie Ziggy wants to reach the nr. 1 spot: he aimed long for it. Seismologists expect another outburst of reviews soon.
In the end Mellotron Storm will beat everyone, because a steady pace will always be more effective than heavy explosions.

Wow, this was imbedded quickly and deeply...
I got my "new" laptop and started reviewing again... but I'm starying to run out of things to review (jk)
More interesting is that mellotron storm has almost caught up to Zowie Ziggy... it's a matter of days now
, but you never know with Daniel power outbursts

Well the hard disc of my laptop just died5at least I think that's it), soi have to bring it for repair, and I'll be computer-less at home for a while.... which means no reviews either

Hughes just directed me to his poll here. I am definitely the long shot.Maybe if Hughes and Daniel were to suddenly disappear then i might have a shot.
I've never seen anyone put up reviews as fast as Daniel.I remember when he passed me a couple of years ago i just felt the wind. He told me recently he has lots of reviews done he just needs to add them, this was after i actually tied him a few weeks ago after his hiatus, then he rifled off about 8 in a row and i think i heard that sound the Roadrunner makes when he lets the coyote get close then takes off.

>> Torodd is indeed a threat to be reconned with
(No Torodd, I'm still not selling you back that very-rare SOft Machine Legacy album, so stop buttering me up)
Well apparently I spend so much time in supermarkets that i must buy food tor three people...; and I am a few kilos overweight... so maybe there is more than me writing these thoughts down... maybe I'm copying them from the library shelves

^ although I think torodd will reach 3000 interviews first!
I reckon that Hugues would have won this race long ago if he wasn't spending so much time in the library and supermarket.

A 1000 x for Sean Trane and his soon-to-be 3000 thoughtful, informative excellent reviews. ........... and for the other contenders too. Edited by toroddfuglesteg - November 17 2010 at 03:09 |

I've found the sheer amount of thoughtful reviews to be so impressive that I am not convinced he is a single real person. But actually most of our top reviewers are impressively eloquent and whatever rhymes with eloquent. So some clappies for all y'all. Edited by Slartibartfast - November 16 2010 at 20:15 |

Must be Hugh. If I remember the trend of the last months well enough, I don't think that ZZ and MS will catch up in due time. Moreover, Conor Fynes needs more time to digest those remaining 2565 Senmuth albums and be the winning outsider .

Thanks for noticing. (that Queen single was just a test for Quick Rating facility) I would like to start reviewing again, but I'm without inspiration. I start, write two sentences, delete them and give up. |

BTW, it's been a long time since I've last read you on the homepage Moris (except for that Queen single thing).

I vote John, because I almost never see the front page without one of his reviews being on it.

What if somebody came in from the blue and post 3000+ reviews in a short time?
I mean,it's possible someone's writing reviews and storing them on a hard-disk...until (s)he decides to copy/paste them in PA. ... I foresee both Daniel and John will overtake Hugues soon (and about at the same time!), but I'm pretty sure they won't reach the 3000 mark before Hugues. It depends... if Sean Trane goes on a rampage in the next week, he has a pretty good head start, and can easily win. I'll vote for Ziggy, seeing the amazing number of reviews he posts on some days.
