Well even atheists can know about the bible and study it. In fact it's better they do know a bit. People who believe in God should know the bible too.....but not all do. Actually even though a non believer myself this albums lyrics don't bother me. It isn't preaching or giving a message to believe. It's a story from the bible....thats all. Other albums have fantasy themes too!

I think PA should make an exception and remove Torman Maxt from the database.

You make a good point because just like there are reviewers on this site that we value because they have similar tastes to us,there are also certain sites that also lean towards the same kind of music we like, and also the complete oposite. DPRP is one site that i rarely read reviews from because of this while Gnosis2000 has lots of reviews that i agree with.In fact if we looked at Gnosis rating of Torman Maxt's albums i bet they rate them all very low.Checking right now...

I'm an Atheist, Robert. What do you expect me to think about the Job story?

By the way, based on your review, you missed the major, most important theme of the Job story (but from what I can tell, so did Torman Maxt).

Well, the way I've been feeling about their stuff thus far, I might end up giving this new one a two, if it has improved as you say.
But, I would still rather wait until I hear the specific reasons for your rating in a future review before I make the decision to purchase the thing. You understand, don't you?

Here's the skinny from me: I have Part I and now Part II. I've reviewed neither as yet. Part I for me is not a one star album. It's a 2. I think it's so-so but not something I like to hear much. Part II - I've only heard once, mind you!- has some definite flaws, but only one of those takes away from the actual listening experience for me, and even then, not so much (I would mostly criticize the album on an organizational and compositional level). Were I to rate it today, it would be 3 stars, but I like to take my time and really get to know an album before I judge it. But I can't see myself giving less than 3 stars- really good sounds and ideas this time. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. |

Tell what, guys: when and if both of you give the album at least three-star reviews, I'll then take the risk. Deal?

I'll give them the credit they deserve - the samples for part 2 sound pretty good. I hope to get it at some point. |

^ Because I've given two albums (half their catalogue) an honest chance, and can't much stand what I've heard thus far. Why would I pay five dollars for more unpleasant music to torture myself with?

Through? Why? Part 2 is actually quite good, and is only 5 bones. I'm glad I bought it. |

I just reviewed the exact album that caused all the controversy. My question is, why does any controversy exist? All one has to do is just listen to the album, and you'll understand where everybody was coming from.
This is dreadful. I'm through with Torman Maxt.
