I see myself somewhere in the middle, or rather, a mix of the two.  So, you could call me either an entrovert or perhaps an ixtrovert, which I like better just because it is more absurd sounding.  Kind of like Nigel Tuffnel being somewhere between a Mozart and a Bach, in other words, a Moch.
The world of sound is certainly capable of infinite variety and, were our sense developed, of infinite extensions. -- George Santayana, "The Sense of Beauty"

As for myself, I can be both. The nasty part is that I can easily switch from one to another for no apparent reason. (is there a doctor in the house?). That being said, I think in a way it could explain some of my preferences for the more mainstream part of prog and music in general which apparently enhances socialisation.

Erm, you like Magma though, and they're not quite the "mainstream part" of prog. LOL

I can be both... but most people knows me as an extrovert person... of course, the rest of the people don't even noticed me, so... I voted for extroverted, but I'm shy... is just happens in different ocassions... thatīs all...

I'm a curious case of an introverted with moments of extreme histrionics. I guess I'm not that introvert when I'm around my close friends.

Hello!

Prog music is sometimes accused of being introvert and focused more on inner feelings and thoughts. I think if would be a interesting poll to see in which category you would place yourself, are you an introvert or an extrovert?  This is of course a totally subjective question, but here's the general ideas of the the ideas of introvert and extrovert.

Here's the definition of the two states from Wikipedia:

Extraversion is "the act, state, or habit of being predominantly concerned with and obtaining gratification from what is outside the self". Extraverts tend to enjoy human interactions and to be enthusiastic, talkative, assertive, and gregarious. They take pleasure in activities that involve large social gatherings, such as parties, community activities, public demonstrations, and business or political groups. Politics, teaching, sales, managing, brokering, and acting are fields that favor extraversion. An extraverted person is likely to enjoy time spent with people and find less reward in time spent alone. They tend to be energized when  when around other people, and they are more prone to boredom when they are by themselves.

Introversion is "the state of or tendency toward being wholly or predominantly concerned with and interested in one's own mental life".  Introverts tend to be more reserved and less outspoken in large groups. They often take pleasure in solitary activities such as reading, writing, drawing, and using computers. The archetypal artist, writer, sculptor, engineer, composer, and inventor are all highly introverted. An introvert is likely to enjoy time spent alone and find less reward in time spent with large groups of people, though they tend to enjoy interactions with close friends. They prefer to concentrate on a single activity at a time and like to observe situations before they participate. Introverts are easily overwhelmed by too much stimulation from social gatherings and engagement. They are more analytical before speaking.
Introversion is not the same as shyness or the social outcast. Introverts choose solitary over social activities by preference, whereas shy people avoid social encounters out of fear[6] and whereas the social outcast faces solitude, but not by choice.

For myself,  I am an introvert.
