This is overwhelmingly a bang-up job.
Thank you for sharing.

The element concerning Canterbury Scene is blocked. This is very good. And, the sensibility shines.

I personally paid attention to the corner under the left side.
The woman who appears in "Rotters Club" is writing Album Art of "Third" of Softs. I felt the humour in it.

I love this collage and may change my desktop soon from Yes collage to this.... My interpretation is:

This is a psychedelic kaleidoscopic galaxy of the Canterbury era. Gongs Flying Teapot soaring high above Planet Gong into the stratosphere is inspirational. Soft Machine are lurking behind the supernova, their numbers simply make a statement of their longevity and lack of album titles in those early golden years. The camel looks so at home beside the Gong temple. The colours that swirl in the night sky churn up the Canterbury icons that are hidden in the starburst. Planets hang in space encompassing an era of Canterbury imagery.

Outside the frame many characters spill out. Matching moles and a Rotters Club lady mind their own business and Caravan’s sleeping beauty, resplendent in her magnificence, simply ignores all, including the statuesque figures, and continues her eternal rest. The Rotters Club lady draws a picture of Soft Machine’s ultimate album and other ladies write letters to unknown lovers. Henry Cow's floating sock hangs ominously and incongruously. A beam of light bursts through the clouds and a Holy priest raises his arms in adulation. Hatfield’s villages peer thru the maelstrom and overseeing all is the eye of knowledge that glows brightly like an iridescent beacon, a symbol of hope, lighting up the darkness.

Perfect Timing! I was just starting to get into Canterbury more over the past few weeks, now I feel like listening to it more. (most of your collages put me in the mood for whatever the subject is)

Your collages have been my desktops for some time now, you have a good streak going, keep it up!

you should check their album that I listed. that was the main reason why i made this collage about these bands and the prog sub genre. I believe these bands are very underrated and unappreciated when their albums as great as their most popular rprog rock bands.
Thanks I worked very hard on this one! The Yes one was easy!!! LOL

Thank you Joel. mysterious colours used.? Tongue
I guess I most confess that since I started creating collages of different prog genre and bands I had learnt  to appreciated them . Even thought in this case I know and I had loved many of the albums for years,  but i had listen to some albums  for the first time these past months.
I guess my collages encourage me and fan of prog as  yourself to investigate and listen or even discover for the first time many great underrated bands and albums.Wink
 Thank again!!!Wink

Once Again I am bothering you presenting my latest collage.
This time is dedicated to the great but underrated prog brilliant scene " called the Canterbury scene" Bands like The soft machine, Matching Mole, Caravan, Gong to name a few, were part of the scene. I am very honor to make this collage, basically, because they need exposure these days  to the young Prog rock Generation. They only happen to love and know that progmetal bands. these were the innovator and creators.

Well, there you have it ! I worked my ass off for the past 4 weeks to make this collage. It is 4:50 AM right now!. Well i promised to some that I  was gonna be done by the weekend, but I felt my promise I am sorry fellas! What happen was that dear pregnant wife prohibited me to work almost all weekend on it!LOL , but right now she is sleeping and I had time to finish it a bit late but I am doneBig smile a bit sleeepy!!!!Sleepy

I hope you guys like it. and my hard work pays off!

 prog rules! 4 ever!
