That's not how H1N1 works. Healthy people under 24 are one of the high risk groups for various medical reasons that I am not qualified to explain. In this case, it's the elderly who doesn't have to worry. |
I believe its because of the vaccination histories of people from older age groups.
I wasn't speaking of H1N1. I was talking about the seasonal flu. I thought the thread was too.

It would be poetic justice if you all died because you didn't realize what H1N1 actually was.
Not that I got one yet either, and I probably won't bother, but I have it coming for plenty of other reasons.

This. Also because I was in class during the free flu shot program.

I cannot remember the last time I got sick but they were handing out flu shots and swine flu nasal spray at my school. It was quick, free, convenient and a friend was doing it so I figured I'd tag along. The shot was completely painless, but like so many others my arm felt sore for the day.

Please don't come near me when you catch a cold, the nuclear fallout might be bad.
| The only time you will want to be away from me is during my gassy periods...which is always.

The seasonal flu shot made my arm sore, but the shot itself didn't hurt.
