What does Italy have to do with Plato, Vompatti?

BUAHAHAAHHAHAHH HH HAH HAH HAH at all of you! Plato couldn't have sent letters to himself because there were no stamps in Italy back then.

I think Plato was sending letters to himself. Good old Socrates was to busy talking to people that he had no time to send his buddy a card.

Caves had no bells, but as we know from the Flintstones, there is a dinosaur for everything.

I think the right question is... who send the letter, if there's only Plato outside of the cave...???

Why would he have ringed at all? Did the cave even have a door?

Plato was actually the one who didn't live in the cave. Which means that he was probably the postman. Shocked

I think that's a very mediocre interpretation of Plato.

How very true. It's like Plato's cave allegory. A postman is the image of the idea of the postman.

WRONG.

A mediocre postman is not the postman.

James McCain said that the postman always rings twice.

Conclusion: a mediocre postman is not a real postman.

A mediocre postman always rings once, waits for a while and thinks he should maybe ring again, but then he thinks that he's already waited too long after ringing for the first time and that it would be embarrassing to ring again after waiting for so long after ringing for the first time.

If you had not mentioned it's a pun, I wouldn't have known it's a pun.

That's the kiss of death to a thread threat.

Not the best of puns, is it? That's why I post it here.
