Indeed, I hope he meant bestselling cars! They do have a wide range of offerings across the board, no denying, but where are those Lamborghinis? |
The Japanese don't make cars that are as flashy as the Italians but if you want a good reliable vehicle look no further than Honda or Toyota. The Japanese small trucks are now ahead of even the American small truck manufacturers. If you are looking for a really good roadster you must consider the Honda S2000.
Hey, I was a mechanic and I swear by the Japanese vehicles.
You and your mate will look good in the gem below without looking overly pretentious like say Keith Emerson , plus the design and execution of the S2000 is world class.
Just drive one and you will see.

i have an "strange" idea that U.S. progressive popular music is very different than British, and, IMHO, much better.

USA by a large margin. Besides the original giants don't find much quality in the UK. |
True enough, UK seems to the chief in neo-prog ever since Marillion came to public knowledge, but it seems like every group coming from there since is incapable of doing sometyhing else but neo_prog.... past the 70's , its US hands down (all genres considered)
And it's not the odd exception like Karda Estra that will deny this rule. Even Thieve's Kitchen's latest album wth its strong retro-prog flavour reeks of neo-prog.

It could be another interesting poll, I think!
|
it could be.. but wouldn't.... if the 'world' could barely edge the UK. How do think a subset of that would fare. We all know that people tend to stick to the familiar...
|
Well, if it's any consolation, even though I picked the UK over the US in this poll (and I'm a US citizen).......I would pick Italy over the UK for prog without hesitation.
The UK may have invented prog, but Italy perfected it

UK prog has been far, far ahead of US prog, but this distance has somewhat lessened lately.
