We did the same & bought leather a few years back - sure, there are a few snags & surface scratches here & there, but as a cat owner, you just put this down to everyday wear & tear; if you own a couple of animals which effectively walk around on 20 needles, things get scratched occasionally - mats, carpets, doorframes, sofas, testicles... all the same to a cat wanting to be comfy.

I hate being rejected by my parents to have a cat (of course, a kitty at first) because we have couches she would shred to pieces and so...

I think kitten's (and babies) sneezing is one of the funniest sights ever - it look of total " where the f k did that come from?" bewilderment on their faces is priceless

I believe Bast is also called Bastet... which is very close to the most common name given to our cat Baggins when he lands on the bed at 3 in the morning

I'm trained to spot such things -- it's a very large part of what I do for a living. I habitually scan all writing, everywhere, for errors. It's hard for me to ignore -- but I don't mean to be mean!

Don't we often point out when others are mistaken in other matters? Attila might just appreciate knowing of the error, why it's so common, and how to avoid it. (I hope.)

There's a great Neil Gaiman story (in his terrific Sandman comics series) in which a cat tells his fellow felines how they used to be big, while humans were tiny. The cats preyed upon the humans, and enslaved them, until the humans... but read it yourself (and be glad your cute widdle kitty isn't huge -- or that you're not the size of a mouse)!

Attaboy, I don't mean to be a pain, but did you know that is a VERY common spelling error?
 There is no "would of" (which makes no sense, grammatically) -- you meant "would HAVE," but wrote "would of" because that's how the contraction of "would have," ( WOULD'VE) sounds. ( OF is actually the only word in the English language where an F sounds like a V!)
Maybe I would've bought a cat, if I (& my daughter too) wasn't allergic to them!
