Blues Rock. Bands like Indigenous, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Gales, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Trower, and the like.
I also like Modern rock bands like Big Head Todd & the Monsters & Sister Hazel.
I'm a big Eric Johnson fan. He doesn't fall into any specific category since his music covers so many genres.
I also like 90's bands like Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots.... Heavy, but melodic.

When I'm not listening to Prog I'm mostly listening to non-Prog Rock
(almost exclusively 70's stuff), but also some Jazz and Classical.

Other, mostly folk. A lot of Dylan, Neil Young, and Crosby, Stil, and Nash and Young and some Fleetwood Mac. I listen to a few other people, but not at the same level as the ones I mentioned.

I love Status Quo too, so dynamic and enthousiastic, Caroline, Roll Over Lay Down and Mystery Song are my favorites! A few years ago I watched a BBC documentary about Status Quo, funny to notice that all Rick Parfitt his ex-wives were blond and long legged |

I listen to Classic Rock mostly. It's sad to see blues hasn't got a vote.

Mostly rock of a non-prog genre. I've always liked early seventies rock like The Faces, The Who, Rod Stewart etc. but I like stuff from all genres; even Eminem
