I want Ray Davies and Kevin Ayers to have a jam session. That would be so cool.

I dream of Gentle Giant jamming with Hatfield and the North or National Health....Can't decide which of those last two bands - love them both. However, there is no question about the first.

How about the lineup of Emerson, Lake, and Palmer (Sinfield on Lyrics), since that was a collection of prog dudes from other bands who created some great music.

How about :

Bach, Beethoven and Mozart:

I would imagine that Bach would play bass

Maybe Alla sailor Mozart and Beethoven could share keyboard honours.

Dang so who is going to play the drums ? Carl Palmer...and Guy Evens (lets be greedy)

A true super group and a truly progressive one into the bargain.

O.K. here is my 1st post here! I'm so excited!

Vocals: Anne Haslam & Bjork
Guitar: Terje Rypdal
Bass: Ray Shulman
Keyboards: Kit Watkins
Drums: Bill Bruford and/or me
Percussion: The Balinese Gamelan Ensemble
Background Vocals: Le Mystere Des Voix Bulgares

Quite ambitious, I know! I would be a groupie and follow them around the world! It would be a passionate blend of hypnotic interwoven rhythms, layers and souring melodies! Man, I can hear it!

dreamband from a floating cloud (meaning of deceased musicians) would be:

Elton Dean - saxes
Volker Kriegel - guitar
Albert Mangelsdorff - trombone

actually Mangelsdorff and Pastorius already played together on earth; the same is true for Pyle, Gowen and Dean

Alright lets see...
Vocals; Ronnie James Dio
With additional Vocals by; Candice Night
Guitar; Ritchie Blackmore
Bass; Roger Glover
Drums; Cozy Powell (or Bobby Rondinelli-'cause Cozy's dead)
Keyboards; Micky Lee Soule
And the band would be...well Rainbow...seeing as all these people were in rainbow at one time or another...
Vocals; Ronnie James Dio-OR-Ian Gillan
Guitars; Tony Iommi
Bass; Geezer Butler
Drums; Bill Ward
Keyboards; Geoff Nicholls
The line ups from Heaven and hell and Born Again, my two favorite Sabbath albums...hell even with Ozzy, if he'd do something with Sabbath) and finally;
Vocals; Joe Lynn Turner
Guitar; Doug Aldrich
Rythm Guitar; Janick Gers
Drums; Chuck Burgi
Keyboards; David Rosenthal
I'd love to see this band...it'd be cool!
It's got to be slow
Taking love the only way
It's got to just flow
Making love and taking time to let it grow
