Ninjas would so win.  Pirates are just a bunch of drunkards with peg legs and eye patches while ninjas do flips and throw ninja stars while being good swordsmen.....  i would like to see a massive battle between pirates and ninjas.  we all know though that chuck norris would pwn them all though along with giant apes. 
true as a lobster in a pteredaktyl's underpants.
