Believe me , nevermind those stupid top 100 list or any other kind of those.

While I've come to you way of thinking re. the top 100 over time, when I first viewed the website, I was rather mystified as to why TAAB was #1. Myself and my friends who were prog lovers would never consider anything by Tull to represent the apex of prog rock (nothing against Tull, but his music just doesn't reach the heights, imo). So I think perhaps you may want to consider how a new person viewing the list for the first time perceives it before throwing around derogatory terms, like "lower forms of living being" or "idiot" or "lowlife" or "loser". Wow, that's a pretty long list. But I do regard TAAB as a top 5 of prog, still some 35 years later.I am not annoyed that TAAB lost top notch, but that some people collectively skewed their way into dislodging it. This is also being done for Dream Theater and there is a thread monitoring the Beatles's progress (although it is done humorously and it is interesting to see where they will stop their climb) since their inclusion, but you can just guess that some people would loose sleep if Sgt Pepper would get in the top 10!!! how's that for being a loser????.UuuuuuuHhhhh!!!!......... an anally driven proghead

You make a valid point of the newbie entering on site, but Gibraltar does not have such a list  , and Progressive Ears do but to dig them out is something different and Gnosis requires a few days of understanding how to extract the data to get to such a list.

But like you I've come to see the list as a prog rock freak show, and as a two-headed calf is captivating in a strange way, so is the top 100 list.>>>
