   Telekinetigram is great, ViolinCyndee.  I like the world influence, and the violin work is fantastic, very interesting both melodically and timbrally (if that's a recognized word).  

My band's music is at www.myspace.com/mjollnirfalls.  It has odd time signatures, occasionally weird timbres, and a fairly strong King Crimson influence.

	Wow you guys are YOUNG! HA! Anyway.....I record with my 5-string electric violin. My influences are Gong, Hawkwind, Mark Wood, Neil Young, shred guitarists.....spacerock! My music has alot of world influence, and sometimes danceable beats, so it can sound alot like Aftro-Celt Sound System at times. 	This thread oviously goes out for all the musicians or people that make music and/or are in a band. Please Im very interested in hearing about the kind of music you do, your bands name, if you have a song in mp3 to download from somewhere, or simply to know a little about the kind of music you play and your influences. Ok, I go first. I have a band and right now we are planning to record an album (not professionaly!!!). We are three boys, me being the only one over 18...the others 17. We are lacking a drummer, but probably a cousin of mine who plays the drumms will help us with the recording. We do prog (obviously) that relay on guitar and bass only, though we are planing to incorporate a keyboard some day. We have some long songs ( two of 9 min, one of 8 and one that we are working on but will probably last more than 10 min.)...and also one very short one ( 59 seconds...), we also have a couple of instrumental songs, and are currently composing/writting an EPIC!!! We have not even come to the middle of the story we want to tell and the song is already 12 minutes long...so it seems to be loooooooong!!! jejeje Our influences are mainly Led Zeppelin, Rush, some Dream Theater , Genesis (Gabriel) and maybe some King Crimson and Yes (but not that virtuoso) jejeje What about you?
