I'm telling you guys, as a personal trainer, at the higher levels, prog becomes A SPORT!!! Wink

I always thought this 1977 Yes lineup picture looks like all of your awkward uncles and aunts huddled together at Thanksgiving/Christmas:

Steve Howe actually looks like he's alive in this photo.

I'm sure Syd would've loved this photo WinkLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOL

why the winking and the LOLs?
maybe he would have loved it, after all they were friends.

Friends yes, but legend has it that Syd's bandmates didn't recognize him in his later perìod with no hair and overweight when he Walked into their recording studio some years before Syd's death.....sad to think.

Simple as that?! I'm not sure I get your point. Confused

My point is simple as honey & pie. Too many times prog is confused with spineless pop...especially in Italy where people still think that if you're not on FM radio all the time with silly wimpy hits (like some of the Italian prog bands I mentioned above) and/or VERY wimpy pop hits like Lady Gaga or Eros Ramazzotti, just to name two, you are considered a bad band or a band not worth listening to. Get it now ???!
(P.S. if you don't, try harder EmbarrassedWink)

How do you know prog is confused with spineless pop in Italy? ConfusedLOL

And here I thought Goblin are underrated here on PA or by people that love Italian cinema. Progheads and people that love movies and movie soundtracks are the only ones listening to them anyway.

I'll try harder next time.

I have been working on / off in Rome and Modena for the past years and I happen to the radio sometimes....but what I hear is lots of wimpy pop music !! Only radio networks like Virgin Radio airs rock and prog.
