The first songs on Thick As A Brick and A Passion Play are also pretty great. Shame there weren't any more good songs on those records.

LOL
Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

Sweet Dream
Skating Away
Baker St. Muse (Medley)
Salamander
The Whistler
Acres Wild
Dun Ringill

Second 10
Serenade to a Cuckoo

Sealion
Minstrel in the Gallery
Rainbow Blues
Taxi Grab
Pibroch
One Brown Mouse

to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

I mean, my favourite Tull songs may not be ones you like. Especially considering you're not their biggest fan. If we weren't on a prog site, I'd recommend more pop/rock sounding Tull songs (Living in the past) to start getting into them, but i'm guessing you have tried to listen to them before and still can't gel with any of their songs, which is okay.

In any case, I'll put my favourite Tull songs here because you asked Tongue

A New day yesterday
No Lullaby
Thick as a brick
Songs from the wood
Slipstream

Minstrel in the gallery
Heavy Horses
Velvet Green
The Whistler
Aqualung
