What do you mean you did not know three guitarists in your own poll? So basically, these lists of guitarists are not yours, do you take them from some place on the internet and paste them here? Wacko

As Chopper quite rightly points out, I mentioned at the top of this thread in my first post that "The Top 100 Guitar Heroes list is supplied courtesy of Guitarist Magazine."

I didn't think for one moment that anyone here wouldn't know who Ritchie Blackmore was.

Captain Obvious would make a good name for a band, although I might be thinking of Captain Beyond.

Originally, I was going to post four polls with 25 great guitarists in each poll, but that would have made it almost impossible to choose a favourite.

This is the first of a 10-part alphabetical poll to determine who's the greatest guitarist of all time across all genres of music. When the results have all come in, I'll put the winners of each of the ten polls into a face-off poll to determine the overall winner of the Top 100 guitar heroes.
