I don't even know what the old one was like, but this newly-improved one tastes so sour, it's super-depressing. And no dizzyness! Did I drink yellow sprinkle or what??

So what are you drinking? LOL

This is actually called the "anti-beer" in humanity's entire history:

Of course, as with many things of utter bad taste, it gets some competition from other kinds.

I must say, Sean Malone's cover of Coltrane's Giant Steps was quite interesting. And spacey of course.

REM was very much a let down for me, I'm expecting this to be better after the one song I heard at their Myspace. I haven't seen them live even though they've had three gigs in Finland in two years, there's always been something else. There's a live dvd on the special edition I bought, I guess that's something.

Nice.

Let me know how that album is.  I've seen Riverside live and they're excellent.  If it's better than Rapid Eye Movement, then I'll be very happy.

Wow, I'm going to have to get the new Isis album, the track in the 'archives is brilliant Hug

It's my favorite from them, and for a time I thought it was going to be one of my top 10 albums of all time.
I realized yesterday that the new Riverside had just been released so I had to run to the store to get it, the Isis album, the Mew ep and the first solo album by SIgur Rós's Jónsi (well, a duo album with his boyfriend). I listened to Isis once yesterday already, seemed really really good. I'll say this is the best music year since 2005 Clap

How's the new Riverside?

I may have to get it but I fear it maybe less proggy and more like PT.  Not that that is necessarily bad as I do listen to non-prog as well.

I wish I knew. It was supposed to be released in North America June 16 I believe, but it got pushed back to July 28th. Ouch
I haven't listened to it yet but my girlfriend did today and said it felt really really good. I'll give it a spin tomorrow morning now that I have time for it. I spent pretty much all week writing and recording a new track and it's finally finished Clap I really like it despite one borderline dumb bit, but it too pays off in the end. I'll probably post it in the musicians exchange area sometime in the week.
